The more I work with the Big Shot the more I like it's amazing possibilities and how much fun it is to create mini books in the shape you like with the number of pages you need. For me personally, I feel really fortunate to be able to work with new Sizzix dies that come into Made With Love and having the luxury of experimenting with their capabilities. Kelly is the brains behind the Sizzix display and the big reveal of the Design Team work will be in August with an eye popping theme of sizzling colour. We hope when that happens you will LOVE what we did and have scrapping ideas popping out of you head after looking at the variety of projects.
It's the Asian Youth Games in Singapore but the overall atmosphere is dimmed by worries about the H1N1.
People are just more careful to keep away from crowds. Hopefully this will get the majority in Singapore to be more careful about hygiene and food establishments will be pushed to be stringent in maintaining high standards of food handling. We went to a Western food cafe in an HDB some months ago and I was shocked at the appalling condition of it's toilets, the same toilets the cooks and service staff use. Common sense would mean if toilets are filthy in food courts, cafes or restaurants, then we should automatically question hygiene standards of the food staff. Well that cafe has lost our custom, I refuse to go back and with the countless food outlets in Singapore ..........we don't need to ever go back !
The whole day has been overcast and raining, it's good to stay home.
Tomorrow's Friday ...... the weekend's almost here. No scrapbook classes for he next two weekends, right now just finishing up some projects and visiting blogs with amazing, smokin' work for the Cosmo Cricket Design Team Call. I can only imagine how tough it will be for the owners of Cosmo Cricket to choose the top 12 and then narrowing it down to the 4 or 5, there will be many disappointed scrappers.
You know what ? Even if I don't get on, I am happy with what I've showcased, it's truly how I scrap. It will be ok.
